Memories i.e.

My head has been stuck in the late '80s/early '90s for the last ten days or so. This has been reinforced by two major virtual reunions, scanning of old pictures and listening to a retro playlist I compiled for my elder sister for her 40th. (She lost the CD I made for her). I am getting closer to the time that I can upload and share all of the pictures with the relevant people.

Today, I am posting a tiny selection of the pictures I was very happy to be reminded of. Pictures which have been long forgotten in their albums not looked at for decades. The oldest in my selection is from 1996; the earliest is from 1988. The one with the speech bubble really cracks me up!

An easy morning followed by a DBWC Zoom meeting at 3 pm followed by OaSis at 5 pm. We stuck to our 40 minutes today, despite watching the last in the series of The Rock, the Road and the Rabbi. It's been a real eye-opener. It gave fantastic insight that put so many key things into context for us.

G whipped up a slightly different pasta dish in the evening, using pesto instead of a tomato sauce. It was *interesting*! :) And I have to record the hours that got added to my morning because I read an email from BA Holidays properly. I had booked car hire when booking the tickets for this summer. I'd already received an email from BA telling me the 15th July flights have been cancelled. This week, I was going to get in touch with them to ask for a refund rather than a voucher. The email today apologised for the high volume of calls being received and the long wait times, so BA have decided to go ahead and give me a full refund. Brilliant. All sorted without having to make a single phone call.
