Ladybird

Another day of relative inactivity, but a it is my husband’s birthday I decided I would spend the day wherever he was.

Some years we go to Cambridge, but more often, we go to Cromer on the North Norfolk coast for his birthday, with a fish and chip lunch or supper. That is not possible this year, but I cooked a suitable “seaside type” lunch and might have an ice cream later.

Today’s picture is of a native ladybird, I saw only one, but there were four Harlequins ladybirds in the same area, near the pond.

The temperature was twenty degrees Celsius at GMT noon; there has been some sunshine, with showers in between.
