Loughborough Marketplace in Lockdown

Actually seemed busier than it has on normal Wednesdays.

I can't say that I've felt particularly miserable about the situation but today, of all days, I found Loughborough rather depressing.

We'd gone to visit Aziz in his shop. I wore my mask and was frustrated that it kept slipping down. Might be because my hair is fine and the mask slips on it. I had just washed it.

Saw Daz at the foot of the stairs of the Head Gardener, looking very cheerful. He was about to be trained in how to clean the salon. He recommended I phone Ros at home to get booked in for a haircut. Good old Daz.

On the way home, I went shopping in Lidl, sans mask. I couldn't get on with it. Going to have to sort that out.

Stocked up on all sorts of nice gluten free things and started eating them for lunch. For supper, I started on the balsamic onions that were delivered last week. Nom.

At the end of the afternoon, I took Basil out to Nanpantan Reservoir. The grebes are sailing along in the middle of the water. Mum keeps feeding the humbugs small fish. Dad seems to get a bit fed up with carrying them around. They were swimming around on the water today.
