Week 16 - Day 4 An evening by the sea

A long slow day. My work fridays always are - apart from the quiz which is always good, and usually enjoyed by the whole office. The questions were great today. People are being really imaginative. I enjoyed it - especially as I recruited a genuinely talented person to do some entertainment too, so we were treated to a piece played on the piano by Heather.

Finished at 5ish and decided we fancied a walk by the sea in Cromer. As Henry had planned an evening in a pub with friends, we quickly cooked pizza, and then drove in to Cromer for the evening. Henry went to meet his friends and we went to the Co-op and bought some bottles of beer. It was lovely and still so we went and sat on the pier. I still don’t fancy pubs. There were lots of people out doing the same. We then took a long walk along the cliff top to Happy Valley and then through the woods. We made our way to the chip shop near Josh’s house (Station Road area) as the queues at No 1 and Mary Janes was extremely long, and we fancied exploring a bit anyway. We bought 2 portions of chips between the 3 of us, and then wound our way back down the hill looking at all the different houses on our way. There would be a lot of pluses living in Cromer, and we picked out the houses we fancied as we walked back to the car via various housing estates!

Home by 9 to find both chickens auditioning for Chicken Run 2 wandering round my garden. I caught Bluebell no problem, but Flora gave me the run around!

Picking up my mini in the morning...excited!!!
