127th Corona diary entry / The New Normal

Let's start with the Covid situation.
We went into a mandatory-mask at almost all times today. Few exception when we don't have to wear it like when training. Anyway in addition to our recent breakouts, our little fishing village (yes, that's how it's described in national media) got into news today as they are looking for people who have been to a night club Oasis in Santa Pola between 11.-13.7. So.... Not even gonna say anything. That must be a third outbreak.

Last night we came back with the dogs before 10pm. There was about 30 kids on the street introducing themselves (very polite) to each others. The police had just said earlier that day that that's how the virus spreads. Through kids. These were kids from all over the country. All in one group. No masks. No distance. Good luck.

Funny thing is that someone on the neighborhood group chat started about the poop. Yeah, it's disgusting, but I still don't post 3 pictures of it to all. We all know what it looks like. But it continued to someone FINALLY complaining about the noise on the streets during the nights. FINALLY!.  Not really sure if it makes any difference, but at least it's out there. Someone else is thinking about it. Not just me.

The picture is from this afternoon. We were supposed to have coffee with James. But the guys from the cycling group had arranged it and it was a surprise that all who are here, turned up. (Drinking in a cafe is an exception not to wear the mask.) They had a present (brilliant present) for my husband and a card with every ones name. That was so nice. He got a new cycling shirt and pants that are made locally in Murcia. Very cool one actually. Nice print. And a light that is also a radar that gives indication to the cycling computer that they all have while cycling, a signal if there's a car behind. That is brilliant!

Unfortunately the cafe closed at 4 pm, so we had to leave then.  Keith was able to take few pots with plants from me and that was also nice. 4 pots have a new home now. They have a better chance to survive.

Forgot to say that after our coffees, I trimmed 3 dogs. Pretty good day.
