Cocoa Bean

Meet Cocoa Bean Berry!..she’s a bit over 8 weeks old and tonight she met the whole rest of the family (except Maple sugar , her big cousin.). she’s a German Short Haired Pointer, liver colored with that tiny tuft of white on her chest. - I think the 2 dogs will get along great at the Island.   When Eric turned 50 we all thought he needed a dog so chipped in $ so he could pick out what they liked…   that was Oct, 2018.  It took 5 months into this pandemic for it to happen!    Could have been a bit sooner but puppies were in very short supply right after the stay at home/quarantine.   But this one worked out…she seems a lot calmer than the vizsla and we were all delighted to meet her in their nice big yard with pizza delivered so we could pretend we were in Rome.  (I’ve got an idea for that part of this celebration another day).  Fiona also got some basketball pointers and great encouragement from her cousins…maybe she’ll get interested yet……
