Channeling My Inner Monet

Dear Diary,

Here is my impressionistic version of another clump of perennial grass, this one has its seed heads.  I am reading a wonderful book by Susan Vreeland called Life Studies.  It explores art through the eyes of ordinary people and I just finished the short story about Monet.  I thought I would try his style with this variation on the theme of autumn grasses.  I so enjoyed visiting Giverny several years ago and have always loved his paintings.
