A bit of history

I slept well. Must stop obsessing about sleep. Then (dressed to the 9's!) set off, on a 31, for Roseburn and am assignation with J. Lots of chat and laughter later I emerged with great hair.

Home via Omni where I bought some art. I'm aiming to keep the economy going. Stopped off to queue at the PO to get yesterday's box (my art materials) which Parcel Force decided to deliver to the PO, rather than chapping my neighbour's door.

Before a long phone catch up with Y who is in day 2 of her 14 day self isolation before her op spent some time doing follow up from Tuesday night interspersed with a discussion with the landscaper. I'm cogitating getting the front done so that the car can be parked off the road. More keeping the economy going.

I'm glad that yesterday's decisions have not closed the pool (although part of me would have liked a long lie!). I'm less impressed with the decision about hospitality venues. As is now being pointed out there is no logic to it. Seems you can meet in a small cafe at lunchtime but not in a spacious restaurant. And it discriminates against single people like me who'd mainly be meeting only with themselves. For once the SG really risks getting it wrong and it's more likely to encourage people to socialise at home. Too much advice, too many experts.
