Colours on the Chase

L rode again today with a friend.  I got her to drop me off so I could check out the colours on the Chase.  While I had a camera with me my main purpose was to do a few miles and check different locations, including the ancient oaks on Brocton Coppice.  As such I just tended to take photos with the phone to remind me where to go back to for more 'serious' photography.  It was a predominantly cloudy and flat light but really calm; an ideal day for a walk which ended up at almost 10 miles.

In our area the beech trees will soon be at their most colourful.  Lets just hope the windy weather forecast for the next couple of days doesn't strip them of leaves.
