Abstract (Day 1991)

A new week and the start of another bathroom re-fit. This is a bit of a strange one, as the job was passed to me by another tradesman. I have yet to meet the customer. The morning was spent stripping the wall coverings off (lino over plywood over more lino over more plywood over more plywood). I removed the electric shower and found a fairly horrific bit of wiring. I contacted the customer and suggested that the sensible option would be to replace the shower for a new mixer shower. Thankfully he agreed.
A quick trip to town to get a new shower at lunchtime, then back to do first fix pipework for the shower, and get the shower tray fitted.
