Social distancing

Manda came over today and we persuaded dad to sit up for us to do a selfie. As usual, you can see dad is laughing his head of (that's a family in joke). We did have a bit of a joke together, he hasn't lost his sense of humour, just feels so tired and weak, he just wants to sleep. A visit from Bruce perked him up though, and generated a lot more conversation than we have managed to get out of him all weekend, so that was nice.

We spent a lot of this morning helping mum sort out paperwork, and check bills, and payment dates etc. A thing dad has always been in control of. Luckily everything was up to date, and panic averted over mums driving licence when we thought it hadn't been renewed but it turned out it had, and we had just found the old licence.

I left at about 3.30 in the hope of getting home most of the way in the daylight. Only the last hour was dark, and I decided to come through Norwich.

Jon has fixed the boiler (yay!! He is so clever), been to feed the chickens and cooked a roast dinner. Everywhere looks lovely and clean and tidy. He definitely doesn't need me! Now sitting in front of the tv trying to keep my eyes open. Remind me - why do we put the clocks back?!
