Climb every mountain

Including the artificial ones that have been built in the demolition site opposite. This is what the big heap of pulverised concrete looks like from street level, on the other side of the fence. They are almost done now. The fences were removed from around the portakabins, which will presumably be taken away in the next day or so, and the tarmac they are sitting on cleared away. There's just one more heap of concrete to be pulverised, and some piles of wire reinforcing to be taken away in skips. They were clearing the ground over by the small number of trees by the entrance today, and I was watching them carefully in case they had an "accident", which led to the removal of the trees. Happily they survived.

In and amongst demolition watching, there's been work, of course, and a brisk walk up to the weir first thing, which we did in two minutes less than yesterday. We might get a bit competitive over this.

Now even more on tenterhooks.
