Decided to walk this morning as the forecast was better - drier anyway - than this afternoon's. Annoyingly that turned out not to be the case and we were drenched. Today is remarkable for the sense of relief. I can stop constantly reading or listening to the news. I don't know that I will mind you as #45 has another 90 days to create mayhem and sow further discord. But for today I'm welcoming President Elect Biden and VP Elect Harris.
It's Remembrance Sunday in the time of Covid. My uncle has latterly been an attender at the cenotaph in London but he won't be there today.
