Actually, it was much nicer than the lighting would imply - it is all down to spot metering.
I took a shot of some of the tree decorations to send down south Two of them are for the girls and the other two have their names on - but I prefer the shot of them blurred (the wrong camera settings).

I have packed up and wrapped wee gifts for the neighbours - delivery will come later.
