What Are You Waiting For?

I did indeed manage to finish this today, and thankfully the first read of 2021 was a good one! There are some differences in the film version but honestly they both are stunning in different ways. There might be a reread of this (and a rewatch of the movie) in my not too distant future, I think. One thing I don't like about getting a book after the movie has come out are the movie covers. This one isn't too bad, but my copy of Annihilation sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the other 2 books in the series...

Gotta take the Chrimbo decorations down tomorrow. Not sure I want to, really.
