Diving in

Today has been mostly taken up with riveting domestic chores such as cleaning the bathroom, hoovering etc.

After lunch I went out for a walk to find a blip in the dull and murky park. After only a few shots of the birds on and around the pond my camera battery was "exhausted" bless it! 

Therefore my Blip today is a black headed gull. They were swimming on the pond and every now and then would leap about a foot in the air and dive under the surface briefly, returning with some tasty morsel.

I wasn't exhausted so I continued on for a walk - determined to get back into the habit of getting 10000 steps again. Later I walked up to Tesco for the weekly shopping. 

Happily it's now all done and I can relax for the evening.
