Printed Matter

I have a confession to make. This morning my school friend, complete with thermos of coffee, visited the Dower House patio where we sat until the cold seeped into our bones. That took an hour and a half despite sharing a blanket, a hot water bottle and Christmas cake.

It was strictly against the ethos of the regulations here whereby no one is meant to combine exercise with socialising. But goodness it was worth it to have some face to face interaction in a world where we are being isolated to a level we have never before known.

Having thawed out over lunch I am contemplating dragging my body out for a walk before cosying up to reread the Thursday Murder club which is our book group choice for this month.

My blip is of the three books I got for Christmas and which I have enjoyed reading so much.
