Dìa de los Muertes

Dìa de los Muertes (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday observed on 1-2 November which coincide with All Saints Day and All Souls Day. It’s a period to remember friends and family who have died. One of the symbols frequently seen are these creepy skulls (but not made into football helmets).
But Dìa de Los Muertes is considered to be a celebration.

So tonight I am remembering the death of my beloved Buffalo Bills season but celebrating their amazing success. The Kansas City Chiefs won 38-24 and the right to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl on 7 February. The best team won.
