(Almost) all the colours of the rainbow

Not quite so windy today though the leaf sculpture around the front door has grown - beautifully shaped by the wind!  Unfortunately I had to clear it away and throw the whole lot over the deck fence where it spread down the bank. There was another huge pile behind the garage from where it was moved to the leaf mould heap without much difficulty - I love all these free leaves and have been making leafmould for as long as I can remember.

We wandered down town again for Mrs M to buy fish at the pier. It was a lot calmer down there as the wind was from the NE. I take so many picture around the harbour as on good days the colours are beautiful - even without the CalMac ferries! Today's Blip looks across from the ferry terminal to the North Pier and the Dunollie woods rising up behind.  I can certainly see Red, Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue - Indigo and Violet could probably be found too!

Quote of the Day:

Don’t miss all the beautiful colours of the rainbow looking for that pot of gold. ― Anonymous
