Life through the lens...

By ValC

Out with the old, in with the new.

Another day spent researching Mr C’s ancestors.
I have gone back as far as his 10th great grandparents born in 1590. That’s it. I have now come to a dead end, so to speak.

However we now have a few churchyards to visit once we are let out again!

Still a few different branches of the family to research, but I don’t think that will as easy.
A great way to spend the day as it has been so bitterly cold with a biting wind.

Had a long chat with a friend in Somerset.
Then a lovely surprise visit from our granddaughter, Hannah, who brought us some more chocolate muffins and a bunch of daffodils. She must have been frozen chatting to us in the doorway.
She had her Covid vaccination this week, as she will be back nursing in hospital in March.
Unfortunately had a bad reaction, and was really poorly for about 24 hours, but I’m glad to say she is now better, and looked as pretty as always.
After she had gone we both said how very lucky we are to have such wonderful grandchildren.

The photo is of the tulips our daughter-in-law brought us a couple of weeks ago, just on their way out, and the daffodils Hannah brought, still in bud, which will open in a day or two.

By the way Mr C was 3rd from the left, back row.
Hannah picked him out, so did our son, and fellow blipper Corinthian.
