Clairette

First blipped in February 2015 after purchasing them at Burton Agnes Hall when visiting the snowdrop displays they subsequently disappear for the garden until last year.
I was delighted to see this little Iris Reticulata - Clairette - flowering in this afternoon’s lovely sunshine. I wanted to record it in case it does a disappearing act again. The deeper blue/purple ones in the other side of the the tree base should be following soon.

Took another look  at the catkins looking great against the blue sky at the bottom of the garden before heading up the village to post some cards. I passed airedaleknitter in her garden and she told me the frogs were back in her pond and she was waiting to get a shot of them.
The crocus by the bus stop are now fully out, purple and yellow and the there are clear heads in the daffodils under the blossom trees which line the roads into the village. Feels like spring is sprung!
Just need some good news from the PM now!
