Spring Flowers

What a grey and dull morning,  I headed out for my pre-work walk hoping it didn’t rain.  However the day really brightened up into sunshine and blue skies.  My morning was brightened by a nice chat with a colleague who I haven’t spoken to for a while.  Back in the office he sits just behind me and we chat every single day.  We had a Divisional meeting today that I thought was going to be dreadful.  It was billed as a getting to know you meeting as we have a few new colleagues, who we have obviously never met in person.  We had to introduce ourselves and then tell everyone about something that had made us laugh recently.  It was on the whole hilarious.  My contribution was asking TT what he planned to give up for Lent and his answer of caviar!!  The funniest had to be from one of my team who was on a MS Teams meeting recently with a number of colleagues, when a semi-naked man appeared behind one of the participants.  I laughed a lot, even though I had heard the story before.
The day seemed to pass relatively quickly and it was after 5pm before I knew it - and still so light and almost light until 6pm.  After tea, I had a wee walk to get my steps and then watched some more of Little Fires Everywhere. I missed Boris.

My friend’s daughter went back to school today (she’s in p2).  I told BB that it was her birthday treat.  He said, I’d take that, that’s a pretty good birthday treat. Tonight my god daughter sent me a wee video clip of BB and her dancing around the kitchen a few years ago – so cute.  I can’t imagine him doing that nowadays!!
I first posted aconites here on Christmas Day.  Now there is a lovely carpet of aconites and snowdrops all blooming in the lunchtime sunshine.
