Life's Little Moments

Impressionism

I decided to dabble a bit more with ICM today, incorporating it into a nice walk in the park with Hubs this afternoon.  The temps were in the low 40's F and the sun was shining brightly. And as you can see, still lots of snow on the ground.  There were also a lot of people out walking on the road at the park (it's closed to vehicles) which gave me some things to aim my camera at.

I took a bunch of shots, most of which went straight into the bin.  I kept five, but this was definitely my favorite.  I lightened it up just a bit in LR and other than that, left it alone.  I used an up/down motion to create the blur.  I tried some with a side to side motion, but didn't find them to my liking.  I'd love any constructive feedback any of you would care to share.  As you know, this is way, way, WAY outside of my wheelhouse.

This morning I went to the gym for the second time this week and did a full weight workout.  There were very few people there but there was one guy who had no mask at all, not even around his neck!  So I went to the front desk and told them - they immediately dispatched someone to deal with him.  And there were several people who were only wearing their mask over their mouth.  I wasn't within 10 feet of anyone, and kept my 3-layer mask on (properly) the entire time.  But I didn't come home feeling relaxed.  I'll have to think about whether this is the right thing to do.  I really enjoy being able to get in the weight room again, but just have to measure that against the stress.  We'll see.

Hubs got home in time for dinner last night which was great.  And you may be interested to know that I incorporated dark chocolate into the dinner!  The recipe was for chili and it called for some dark chocolate chips to be cooked in the sauce.  It was delicious and we have agreed that dark chocolate will probably have to feature in future chili recipes.

Stay safe, be kind, do something fun.  And I recommend finding new and creative ways to eat chocolate!
