Solitary

Not much of a day.

Pandemic fatigue. Cabin fever. The weather.

I was at the farm shop first thing in the morning, and had my takeaway coffee after my shopping was done, but in the car. The weather.

Well, I also made some progress with my current book. It is not my usual type of purchase, but relevant to current issues in some ways.

It is the story of the Russian count who is spared the firing squad after the Revolution, but instead is put under house arrest in the Metropol Hotel in Moscow. It describes how he finds ways to adapt to the confinement and the loss of status.
