Diary of an Edinburgher

Dean Village

THREE days of nice weather! 17° today 19° on the evening news!!!, though I think that’s our lot...

We decided to go on a wee jaunt somewhere we haven’t been for a while. Dean Village. Bus down to the West End, walk along the Water of Leith to Stockbridge, and bus home from there for me, while JR and Archie walked home (almost 10,000 steps). A good day out, and a wee change of scenery.

We couldn’t get over the bridge to get a better view of this part of the river, so this will have to do. Archie couldn’t take his eyes off a big husky running around on the other side.

A nice walk along the river to Stockbridge, not very far. We met Fergus the schnauzer (another of the famous Ralphie pups which are populating Edinburgh). We had a good chat with the owners.

Started watching ‘Deutschland 83’. We’ve seen it before, ages ago, but wanted a refresh - it’s very good, and there are two more seasons to catch up on.
