Census Day

Today is Census Day. I actually completed mine online yesterday in case the IT couldn't cope if too many accessed it today. I found the online system very good and it only took a few minutes to complete. I did some pricking out of seedlings today - not sure if it is too soon, so I only did a third of those I'm growing just in case. Soooooo looking forward to the new series of Line of Duty tonight!

Day 370 / Day 75 of Lockdown 3 / Day 14 of Step 1 of Roadmap out of Lockdown (for my record only)
UK deaths up 33 to 126,155 (revised basis), with 5,312 new cases (up 15% from last Sun), 6,162 patients in hospital, 830 on ventilation and 437 new admissions. 27.6m have now received their first dose of the vaccine and 2.2m have had their second dose. A third consecutive record day for vaccinations, with 873,784 given which is 1.3% of the UK population. New cases in Brazil are soaring, with 89,409 new cases and 2,730 deaths 2 days ago. A PHE expert has said that mask wearing and social distancing could last 'certainly for a few year, at least until other parts of the world are as well vaccinated as we are, and the numbers have come down everywhere.'
