Moss impaired vision

A pair of great tits are showing interest in the bird box that was used last year.

He is a smart fellow, well turned out.

She is smaller, a little drabber, with a head that is a little confusingly marked (almost as if she is in moult). As she seems to do all the work (he was not bringing nesting material to the box) it may just be that she’s a bit stressed.

Maybe whilst she is working he’s off to watch the football.
