Today has been productive. After coffee, I took mum to Morrison's so that she could do a bit of shopping. Then spent the whole afternoon in her garden trying to tidy, prune and generally make it look nice. Henry cut the grass, and then Jon and Henry fitted her a new electric hob. The hole in the worktop was a little bit small so they had to cut it out a little to fit the new hob in. Then Henry wired it in. It looks great; so much better than the old one.

Tomorrow we have a big pile of garden waste to chip or burn, mostly wood that was set aside for the open fire, but is now very rotten. Once it has all gone the garden will look a lot tidier.

Jon went out to Argos to pick up a cordless mouse and keyboard for my computer. He has put it back to factory setting, and hopefully it will be faster afterwards.

We are now watching Wonder Woman 1984. Henry's purchase. Mum is here with us, but it isn't her kind of thing, so she is on her ipad making the most of the decent WiFi signal!
