A view from Jeanneb

They’ve moved!

A great day. Started with an earlyish walk with the ladies, the first group walk since New Years Day! It was lovely to have the chance to chat with different people whilst walking in twos or threes.

Much colder and damper this morning than the last few days but it seemed to be still quite a decent day down in Bristol/Bath for daughter Grace’s move. They were packed and done at the Bristol end by 11.15 but even then they were being pressured by their buyers.

A bit of a wait for money’s to transfer but I got a video of Grace getting the keys at 2.30. Just had a FaceTime tour of the house and garden as the movers are finishing off. It’s going to be hard work for a little while but definitely will be worthwhile.

I took a quick screen shot of them with all their boxes in the kitchen. No Eda as she is with her other granny who lives in Bath. She’s been to look around and loved it, finding some early treasures in the garden. She didn’t want to leave but was quickly persuaded by the offer of ice cream!

They will spend tonight with John’s mum and then have the Easter weekend to get sorted. They’ve already met a nice neighbour who was born there and has two young children. Perfect. It seems to be the sort of place where people don’t want to move very far.
They look very happy in this shot and I’m sure they are going to be - but at the moment the cats are less so and are hiding in a cupboard! They’ll soon be OK especially when they find there are fields straight out of the back.

Easter is upon us, where did that year go!
