An ordinary life....

Best pals...

Backblipped 06.04.21

The clear out of the back garden began on Thursday and the guys have made good progress.

As part of this makeover (for want of a better word) we have decided to use the patio behind the garage as our designated garden eating place when we have BBQs about twice a year then if we're lucky! as it gets the sun from mid afternoon until it sets, so the table and chairs have been moved there.  The flower bed beside that patio has been totally cleared and the plan is to fill it with colour and fragrance.

As it's not an area of the garden we've really used much,  I found myself online this afternoon ordering solar powered lights for the path to the patio and lights to hang on the fence to brighten it up on those long, balmy summer evenings when we will still be sitting out there chewing the fat as the light fades.   Hahahahahahahahahaha.....I can but dream!

Now that the table and chairs have been moved from the main patio, there's a massive gap there, so I bought David a surprise.  Something he's fancied ever since Ele and Kenny had one years ago....a hammock!  A lovely reclining garden lounger would probably have been cheaper but without the fun of watching him getting in and out of the damn thing!  Oh the blip potential is through the roof!  Brace yourselves!   :-))))

D and Lola returned from their walk on the moor.  They met up with T & V and Lola's best pal Millie.  V sent me video footage of the girls playing.  They really do adore each other, despite of their ferocious expressions when playing Bitey-Face.  It's so funny because they chase and play and rough and tumble then at exactly the same time they stand up, shake themselves and have a chew of the grass.  In perfect unison!

I took this photo of Lola after her walk and was just about to text it to T&V when their pic of Millie popped up on my phone!  Hahahaha...pair of Princesses!

No Easter roast for us as D fancied steak and he cooked it to perfection along with the rest of dinner.  And cleared it up.  I didn't lift a finger.  His 30 odd year probationary period is almost up.  I'm definitely keeping him.  I think ;-))
