Walk and talk

Bubble friend H asked me round for coffee in the garden as I hadn’t been able to go out with her yesterday.  I decided to go for a walk around Goit Stock again, but reverse yesterday’s route so that I could finish the walk at H’s house.  I thought it might be busy down there, but hardly saw a soul apart from a couple of residents from the park homes (perhaps because it was lunchtime), and a family walking the opposite way.  Lots more celandines, bluebells and wood anemones blooming.  Just got some dippers lined up in focus when a child (from the above family) screamed “birdies” and shot into the water!  The dippers were off like a shot and not seen again! So main shot is the waterfall behind the mill - quite low on water at the moment, but still very noisy.  Extras of a chubby pheasant (rather blurry on 40 x zoom!) gnarly tree roots surrounded by a carpet of wood anemones, village blossom and a bank of celandines and bluebells.  All looking rather lovely around the village at the moment. Then a few hours in H’s garden until the sun moved and it started to get a bit chilly.  Nice to have a walk and then a talk!
