Life's Little Moments

Blue

Piling onto to the general post-surgery lethargy, Hubs and I are both suffering with seasonal allergies today.  But, I still insisted on a short walk at the park - need to get my systems running properly again!  After our walk in a light drizzle, we took a little drive which was lovely.

Arrived home to discover what was probably close to 20 blue jays in the yard and woods.  And being blue jays, they were all up in everyone's business, full of discussion and pranks.  I found myself hoping that the little owl, if he's still around, is well hidden, since blue jays love to torment little owls.  I put out a bunch of dried corn to try to distract them - and as much as I enjoy them, I'm hopeful that most of them will move on.  This is a much larger crowd than I usually see here.

Feeling better overall today although I'm still draggy from the anesthesia and my throat is still pretty sore from the vent.  But not significant pain and I got another great night of sleep and a nap, so that's good.  I'll be seeing my PC doctor tomorrow for a quick check up.  Probably too soon to get the pathology back on the lymph nodes, but I'm keeping fingers crossed.

Thanks to everyone who continues to stop in and bolster my spirits, give me words of encouragement, provide some laughs, etc.

Stay safe, be kind, and definitely dip into something chocolate...
