All the greens

Continuing the colours theme. This is the best time of year for capturing the shades of green before it all gets too monochrome. But if you look closely you'll see that the vines in the middle of the frame are less green than the rest -- at the bottom of the slope they got frosted a few weeks ago and haven't recovered, whereas the vines higher up are unblemished. I finished How Much of These Hills is Gold! Although I was getting exasperated with it, the final chapter brought themes together and really made sense in the context of the story, even if it was a bit melodramatic. It's a very different and challenging look at the American West during the gold rush, with themes of immigration and belonging that are just as relevant today.
