Taking the rough with the smooth

This morning I went into town to get a shot for BobsBlips WidWed challenge on today's subject, 'smooth', but to be honest I had a complete imagination failure and came away with this instead, taken under St Maurice's Covert.  Sorry, Bob, for being a little off course!  Apart from that I got a new battery and strap for my watch, which made me wonder how many watches packed up during lockdown and remained dormant for months.  And I bought a birthday present for a friend, plus cards.
