Shorts and a tee shirt weather

Felt like myself again this morning so was very happy to see blue skies so I could put on my shorts and a tee shirt.

Quick dog walk, followed by a trip to the German supermarket before Miss PHL commandeered the car to collect her friend T. There is a little group heading to somewhere south of Galashiels for the weekend and the girls are being collected from here as we are en route.
Mr PHL had a chiropodist appointment at 1.30 and seems to be walking on air again.

I sat in the garden for a couple of hours reading my book and also managed to wash and dry two loads of bedding and a mixed wash on my new whirligig - strange how excited the simple things can make me!

I report my health through the zoeCovid app and today they asked me to go and be tested so popped off at 4 to the mobile site. All very efficient and I was home again within 20 minutes.

Early dinner of pork and apple casserole planned before we listen to a recording of I’m sorry I haven’t a clue to be broadcast on Radio 4 in due course.

On my evening dog walk I spotted a lovely dogwood rose bush and couldn’t resist blipping it for FlowerFriday. However for some reason the photo won’t publish so I’ve substituted some hawthorn blossom instead. As ever thanks to Anni - BikerBear for hosting.
