A day in the life

By Shelling

Cheap life

These are a few of the many sheep that my landlord raise in her company, selling meat, wool and sheepskin. The have plenty of food and large areas to wander about in, so I imagine they live a comfortable sheep-life with few perils or problems.

The sloe berry bush though, have problems even this year. Some kind of spinner larva creates nets and eat every green thing on the bush. The bush doesn't die, the leaves will be back next year. It can look rather spooky with rows of sloan bushes covered in grey net filled with larva eating away. So many that I think I can hear them eat. Even though the bushes might have a slight resemblance to sheep, I do prefer the ones filled with grass.
