Happy birthday!

It’s my birthday and I’m unashamedly cheating by using this fab shot sent to me this morning.

Eda and Grace are on the top of Stac Pollaidh, with the rest of the family - Jude asleep!, in perfect conditions. (We’ve done this twice and been lucky enough to have similar, crystal clear conditions.)
It was from here that Eda sang me Happy Birthday, whilst twirling around, after which the other people up there shouted Happy birthday Granny! A super video!

You can see some of the Assynt mountains in the background, Cul More to the left, Canisp centre and to the left is Suilven without it’s distinctive round summit.

I have been out for lunch with Chris and my friend, we then walked a circuit around Goit Stock where we saw two fallow deer,  returning through the village and home for tea and cakes from Yorkshire Treats bought this morning. Thought it was safer than not getting a table this afternoon and even more important not getting the choice of cakes we want! We sat outside as it was so warm but it has looked like thunder for most of the afternoon.

Happy Friday everyone, if you want flowers see what was on our front lawn before Chris did the lawns this morning, shame to cut it!
