Hurry up!

Despite our very late finish last night - I didn’t get to bed till after 1 - the puppy was awake from around 6.30. We tried taking him upstairs but he wouldn’t settle so 7 saw me walking him round his new normal - a very shortened version of his normal route. He’s not allowed off lead until he’s been checked again next Friday.

We had a wee rest on the sofa before I gave him breakfast and started getting food ready for the humans. Young Mr PHL had spent a large part of the night in the bathroom whilst his girlfriend had slept reasonably well. After a cup of tea he felt more human and was able to eat but poor Ali was really suffering and only managed a couple of strawberries!

I passed a pleasant afternoon catching up on blip again whilst Phin slept before we headed out to a local restaurant to celebrate Miss PHLs actual birthday. It’s dog friendly and Phin was the centre of attention! My lamb dish, whilst beautifully cooked was spicier than I had expected so was very glad we decided to head to Luca’s in Musselburgh fir a cooling ice cream. Phin was rewarded for his good behaviour with the end of the cone!
