Fun times and silliness

Backblipped Sunday 4th for Saturday 3rd.

Busy day getting things ready for Miss PHL’s small gathering to celebrate her birthday. Weather looked ok in the morning but by the time we got the gazebo up, it had started to rain. That continued on and off (at times quite heavy) all evening.

I’d made a veg chilli with quorn mince and various other bits and pieces including burgers (veggie and meaty), halloumi and hummus. There was also a pavlova and fruit salad for dessert. 

Miss PHL has a lovely bunch of friends and the afternoon and evening passed very quickly with chatting, eating, drinking(!) and catching up. The silliness started when my son and his girlfriend both felt a little ill and went to bed clutching bowls. Whilst my son then spent many hours hogging the bathroom, his girlfriend fell fast asleep with her face in the bowl. I didn’t have the heart to take a pic but it would have been ideal for SillySaturday. I hope the tale is daft enough! I like to think Admirer would have chuckled.
