It still might be coming home.

Slept better last night and got on with a few chores today. This afternoon I walked to the Co-op.  It got very dark and I thought it would rain but luckily it didn't

I made a nice chicken and butter bean casserole for my tea.  One of my " tried and tested " recipes which I always enjoy.

The Wide Wednesday theme is shadows but we had no sunshine so I decided just to post a photo of the England flag I have put up in my front window.. The flag belonged to Neil and he used to wear it around his shoulders tied at the neck when he went to the pub to watch England games in the past.  When I came across it in the spare room a couple of days ago it still had the knot in. A knot which was so tight it took ages to undo.  But I got there in the end. 

I obviously watched the England V Denmark game this evening. At the end of full time the score was 1 - 1 so Extra time was played.  England scored in the first half of extra time and then they just had to hang on to their lead .... which they did.  Final score 2 - 1 to England.  Can't quite believe they are actually in the Final of the Euros.  Well done England.
