Flower .......

 ............ Friday23_2021  (FF23_2021).

I just can't get enough of our lilies - they have been (and still are) fabulous this year.   Quite dull this morning but still enough light before 07.00 to make them "shine".

There's also an ant ........

Following on from yesterday's door debacle, part of this morning will be taken up with unwrapping crappy doors, photographing them and filling in three long forms to "raise tickets" for my complaints.   Ugh!   At least there's a bit of photography involved so that will make it less tedious. 
I just hope my shoulder and back hold up lifting and turning doors that weigh probably 30kgs (65-ish pounds) on my own.  Another ugh!

Massive thanks to the 124 blippers who joined with the challenge on the second Friday in June  -  I am (very) slowly catching up.


Smile for the Day:


At Friday night services, Morris goes to his friend Irving and says,"I need a favour......"


"Please Irving, I need a big favour, I'm sleeping with the Rabbi's wife. 
Can you hold him in synagogue for an hour after services for me?" 
Irving is not very fond of the idea but being Morris' lifelong friend, he reluctantly agrees.


After services, he strikes up a conversation with the Rabbi, asking him all sorts of stupid questions, just to keep him occupied. 
After some time the wise Rabbi becomes suspicious and asks, "Irving what are you really up to"
Irving, filled with feelings of guilt and remorse confesses to the Rabbi, 
"I'm sorry, Rabbi. My friend is sleeping with your wife, right now, so he asked me to keep you occupied."

The Rabbi smiles, puts a brotherly hand on Irving's shoulder and says, "You better hurry home, Irving. My wife died two years ago."
