A Day In The Life

Day 7

Today we’re at the AOG’s Tomato Vineyard for the “Seek and Find” Competition. It’s a sight to behold as it spans more than an acre in size. All plants are organic with most reaching beyond six feet in height. The plantings were purposeful to create a thick, lush foliage, the favored environment of the Tomato and the Tobacco Horned Caterpillars • The Hawk Moth Larva have been munching and growing on these host plants for several weeks, ahead of these games, to become the perfect size for our competitors to seek and find • It’s a selfless act to sacrifice themselves in support of these AOG Games. Please, let’s take a moment of silence for our caterpillar heroes • Thank you, everyone, that was very moving, it’s brought me to tears (cough), please excuse me for a moment. Okay, I see that our athletes are now gathering at the Starting Line. Who will be the first to return victorious? The bluejay? Crow? Or Robin? Get ready, Get set, FLY!
