Minstrel

This is one of thirty five species of sparrows in North America: the song sparrow, a female • After breakfast we left to do a few errands, then poked around our favorite Garden Center. If not for the heat we would have come home with a few perennials, but the thought of planting them right now and having to continually water them sounded way too stressful for them, and us! It’s okay because in a few weeks they’ll be having their annual perennial sale. Any excuse to return :) • Every year I marvel how Mother Nature prepares us for the next season. Summer is a favorite for me but the day after day after day of heat and humidity wears me down and then I begin to long for cooler weather.
