Crane Fly

I made up my mind to blip a pretty flower for Flower Friday but here we are again with an insect. Crane flies don't scoot about as much as bees and hoverflies so easier to snap. Still a loss of focus on the lower abdomen but not too bad a shot. This is a female with a pointed end to her abdomen but I've cut that off.

A quiet day here and that includes the weather. I believe there are awful storms in the south of England. Here it is warm, cloudy and still. And it's Friday again. Wishing you all a good weekend.
