Another Red Squirrel

TT was Covid monitor at church again this morning and then came home and finished cutting the hedge – avoiding the wasps.  I headed out for a walk as I knew there wouldn’t be much chance of one later on.  It was grey, very grey and I was quite concerned that the heavens might open, but they didn’t.  I came home via the supermarket where I picked up a few things then had to start getting the boys organised.
After a late-ish lunch we headed off up the M90 to visit friends who we haven’t seen for over a year.  We queued for ages (again) to get over the Queensferry Crossing.  Is it just the volume of traffic?  We have never been queued so far back – even the last time when there was an accident and the road had been closed.  We eventually got over and the rest of our journey was plain sailing.
It was so nice to catch up with our friends J&D (&M) and D&C.  We swapped Christmas and birthday presents!!  D had the barbie lit and we enjoyed sitting in their garden,  chilling, eating, drinking and chatting well into the night!  TT was driving home and our journey was very smooth given the lateness, apart from when we someone very nearly drove into us.  At least were paying attention.
We were entertained by this wee chap.
