View across the harbour

A lot better today than I thought it would be here. We took a picnic lunch around the harbour and sat on a stone wall in broken sunshine and enjoyed the peace, watching herons and a strange white upright-walking duck.

On the way back we stopped off at the new community garden where a family were kicking a football about while their picnic awaited them on a nearby table. Dad told them to keep the ball out of the veggie beds. I was most impressed when I heard him say, as we left, 'Would you like mango or pineapple'. Fruit? Maybe juice.

I had to laugh as we went out past the sales box - it's my extra today.
