Hair today

Fairly quiet today with a trip down to the office first thing to collect some papers for a meeting next week.

Blitzed a load of work followed by a lovely walk at lunch followed by more blitzing of paperwork before the wee ones rocked up. I whipped us up some chorizo pasta, which we munched through as my parents turned up to say hello and bearing some cut-price cupcakes.

I had a much nicer picture of Matty in her new “Day of the Dead” costume in mind, but missed my moment with the camera, instead you get this one, which is not a great photo, but does capture a genuine reaction from her as she looks at a photo of me from my younger years.

She has now joined the ranks of a large swathe of people to have said to me: “you look weird with hair.”

Charming. I blame the parents.
