An ordinary life....

ET Phone home...

The good news arrived by text just after 7am...David's PCR test was negative.  Phew!  Normal service resumed!

Enjoyed the full cooked breakfast that we'd planned to have with Agnes and Adrian.  Will need to rearrange dates to get together with them.

Contacted friends who were collecting our old bed frame today to let them know it was all systems go.  B and his friend S arrived just after 2.30pm and after getting the frame loaded up and stopping for a coffee, it was on its way to its new home at last.  So happy it's gone to a good home :-)

Meanwhile Ally and Alan headed to Glasgow to Free Wheel North to try out the bikes and the track.  They have every kind of adapted bike available.  As you can see from the photo, Alan loved it.  Thankfully the bike Ally was cycling behind him is electric.  They both had great fun and will definitely be back.  Ally says she managed to lose a few pounds gained on the holiday!  :-)))

The garden room is getting a bit of a makeover so I ordered some items for it today.  Got some very special friends visiting next Sunday (Heaven help me!  You'll realise why I said that when you see next Sunday's blip! :-)) so hoping all my painting stuff will be out of there and in the study as I need the dining room table.  First time it will have been used since February 2020!  Fingers crossed the room will be back to its former glory by the end of the week and I will be in my studio space, even if the extra storage and new flooring hasn't been ordered yet.

Continued watching the agony that was the Ryder Cup.  Well done America!  A well deserved win.  The European team was completely outplayed and outclassed.  What an a*se De Chambeau is though!
