Windpump Crossing

G and I went for a smallish walk this morning on Kelling Heath. The photo is taken at the crossing on our way back. We tried a new route along the side of the line and down to the Kelling Heath Park 'request stop' which must be one of the smallest platforms at only about a carriage long. I did take some photos there, but engine was in reverse configuration and the other one was a diesel. Just after the platform is a nice pond which will no doubt provide some good photos next Spring. Then it's a short walk to Kelling Heath holiday park and a stop for a coffee, followed by the walk back along the path near the track. Although shorter, I was feeling a bit shattered at the end after being unwell this week. A lovely sunny afternoon. The petrol station in town is still out of petrol, as it was yesterday. My niece has tested positive for Covid several days after her son tested positive (he's much better now).

Day 566 / Day 77 of Step 4 of Roadmap Easing (for my record only)
Tens of thousands took place in the London Marathon today, after the event was only able to be held virtually last year due to Covid.
