It seems apropos on NFL Sunday to catch this squirrel mimicking an offensive lineman’s stance at the line of scrimmage. With his arm down, head up, he’s just waiting, itching, ready, for the Center to snap the ball :) • Today is also the first game of the WNBA Finals: Phoenix vs. Chicago. I actually like both teams but I’m rooting for Phoenix in five • The veggie garden is officially closed for the season. Today we raked in cow manure and compost, and before the end of the month it will be roto-tilled. We’re also expanding the garden by a few feet to provide more room for “runner” plants, ie squash and cucumbers • After a couple of cooler days we’re looking forward to warmer temps returning this week. With the garden done we’ll have more time to play :) • Happy Sunday to you!
